The Retail Distribution segment operates prescription eyewear stores primarily under its retail brands, including LensCrafters, Sunglass Hut, OPSM, Laubman & Pank, Oakley ‘O’ Stores and Vaults, David Clulow, and GMO; and licensed brands, such as Sears Optical and Target Optical. As of December 31, 2015, it owned and operated 6,589 retail stores and franchised 676 stores. The company was founded in 1961 and is headquartered in Milan, Italy.
