Nexpace Rolls Out $10M NXPC Buyback to Boost MapleStory Universe Token Dynamics

Nexpace, a blockchain innovator based in Abu Dhabi, has initiated a three-month buyback program for its native token NXPC, allocating up to $10 million to support its growing user-driven ecosystem tied to the MapleStory Universe (MSU).
Designed to stabilize token flow and sustain long-term ecological balance, this open market buyback strategy will be rolled out in phases through a third-party execution team, aiming to avoid abrupt market disruption across global digital asset platforms.
Insights from the platform's first year show strong community involvement. MSU attracted more than 850,000 wallets, with roughly 66% engaging in monthly NXPC spending, generating around 49.1 million NXPC tokens in revenue-valued at approximately $31 million.
By early 2026, user expenditures eclipsed token rewards issued, highlighting a robust, organically-driven demand within the ecosystem. Additionally, 8.32 million NXPC tokens have been burned thus far, underlining efforts to reduce supply and enhance utility.
The buyback initiative aims to reinforce token circulation focused on genuine user engagement, aligning NXPC's value with the active contributions of long-term participants and creators in the expansive MapleStory IP environment.
Sun Young Hwang, Nexpace's CEO, emphasized the commitment to intertwine participation with utility. He remarked, "Our year-long experience confirms we're charting the right course, ensuring those who invest their energy and creativity are duly recognized within the evolving digital world of MSU."
Tokens repurchased will be held in Nexpace's treasury, earmarked for future ecosystem support and sustainability programs, reflecting the company's strategic vision for community-driven expansion via blockchain technology and NFTs.
