It also holds 25% interest in the Oldcastle zinc project that comprises five contiguous licenses covering an area of 172 square kilometers located in Meath and Cavan counties; and 23.44% interest in the Stonepark zinc project, which includes six licenses block covering an area of 184 square kilometers in Limerick County. The company was formerly known as Connemara Mining Company Plc and changed its name to Arkle Resources PLC in March 2019. Arkle Resources PLC was founded in 2004 and is based in Dublin, Ireland.
