The Dallas-based company said it had net income of $1.80 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to $1.26 per share. The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.02 per share. The independent oil and gas company posted revenue of $566.4 million in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $427.6 million. For the year, the company reported net income of $585 million, or $4.91 per share, swinging to a profit in the period.
