2 EV Stocks Slipping Despite Strong Q3 Deliveries

U.S.-based EV stocks are in the spotlight today, as quarterly delivery numbers roll in.
A fresh worry joined old concerns about Rivian Automotive Inc. on Thursday, dragging down the electric-truck maker's stock despite quarterly sales that were above Wall Street expectations.
Rivian stock (NASDAQ: RIVN) dropped about 8% intraday on Thursday, amid rising investor concern over the expiry of  $7,500 federal electric vehicle (EV) tax credit.
Rivian stock gapped down Thursday after the electric-vehicle maker reported September deliveries and narrowed its full-year delivery forecast.
Rivian now expects to deliver no more than 43,500 electric vehicles by the end of 2025, which would represent a nearly 16% drop from last year's sales.
