Honda (TYO:7267) has announced plans to introduce six new electric vehicle (EV) models in China by 2027, branded as "Ye."

This initiative is part of a broader strategy to transition fully to electric cars in the Chinese market by 2035. In the face of robust competition from European and U.S. manufacturers, along with rising contenders from within China, Honda is stepping up its efforts to innovate and expand its EV lineup.

Additionally, Honda is exploring a collaboration with Nissan to share technology and components, aiming to strengthen its position in the fast-evolving EV sector.

At the CES trade show in Las Vegas earlier this year, Honda showcased its ambitions with the unveiling of the "Honda 0 Series" EVs along with two concept vehicles, signaling a strong commitment to leading in the global shift towards electric mobility.
