Aecom said Friday it is "immediately exiting" its business operations in Russia, given what the consulting firm''s Chief Executive Troy Rudd called Russia''s "unlawful invasion" of Ukraine. The company said the financial contribution to its businesses related to Russia is not material, and therefore reiterated its fiscal 2022 financial guidance provided a month ago for adjusted earnings per share of between $3.30 and $3.50, which surrounds the current FactSet consensus of $3.44. The company said it will record a one-time charge of $40 million to $50 million in its fiscal second quarter, as an impairment of the assets of its Russia-related business. The company said the cash impact will be $10 million. The stock, which was still inactive in premarket trading, has slipped 3.7% over the past three months, while the S&P 500 has lost 7.6%.
