(Reuters) -Carnival Corp on Friday missed Wall Street estimates for quarterly revenue due to weakening cruise demand as decades-high inflation start to hit consumer spending.
The three major U.S. equity indexes closed higher Tuesday, with the Nasdaq adding 2.51%, the S&P 500 rising by 2.45% and the Dow Jones industrials closing up 2.15%.
There's still no compelling reason to believe the shares of cruise operators have bottomed, as a “trifecta of worries” still remain, said Deutsche Bank analyst Chris Woronka.
