The Morning After: Peloton''s unfortunate cameo in the ''Sex and the City'' reboot
12:15pm, Monday, 13'th Dec 2021 Engadget
Warning: If youre planning to watch the Sex and the City revival, And Just Like That , avert your eyes for this intro spoilers are incoming. Peloton probably wished everyone did just that. Yes, the ubiquitous, expensive exercise bike featured in a major plotline in the first episode of the new series, which itself isnt particularly shocking. The shock came when Carrie''s husband, Mr. Big, died of a heart attack after he finished a 45-minute Peloton class on the company''s Bike (with real instructor Jess King in a fictional role as a Peloton instructor). The plotline hit Pelotons stock price over the weekend something the company has seen over the last year as many folks head back to their gyms or perhaps, like me, just dont want to stay in their homes to exercise anymore. Peloton was also caught unawares the company knew HBO would feature a Peloton in the episode and that King would portray an instructor, but "confidentiality reasons" prevented it from learning it would kill off a character.

Man who spent 14 years in prison for a Roxbury shooting that left a teen a quadriplegic now charged with September murder in Egleston Square
05:27am, Monday, 13'th Dec 2021 Universal Hub
Boston Police report a Vermont crack dealer with a violent past in Roxbury was arrested in Maryland last month and will be arraigned tomorrow on charges he fatally shot Arthur Rashaad Miles on Washington Street in Egleston Square on Sept. 8. Following the afternoon murder, in which the suspect ran up School Street before disappearing, Boston Police tracked Saquon Moore, 32, to Prince George''s County in Maryland. The county sheriff''s department there arrested him on Nov. 17 as a fugitive from justice for Miles''s murder. BPD says Moore was returned to Boston today for arraignment in West Roxbury District Court. Moore has a criminal record that dates to 2003, when he was a 14-year-old Roxbury resident who fired several bullets into another teen his pal had just shot on Charlame Street in Roxbury, leaving the teen a quadriplegic. Tried as an adult because of the heinousness of the crime, Moore and his friend were convicted two years later and sentenced to 14 years in state prison. Their victim, a Worcester 15-year-old who had come to Roxbury for a family picnic, was helping his relatives clean up when two teens rode up to him on bikes and demanded to know if he was from "Geneva [Avenue]" and after he said no, Moore''s accomplice shot him.
