Electric Vehicles No Longer the Focus at GM

GM is turning its focus to profitability on existing vehicles and pulling back on EV investments.
The auto maker has plans to expand its driverless taxi service across the U.S. and has forecast that Cruise could generate $50 billion in annual sales by 2030.
The move comes just two days after California regulators told the company to take its autonomously driven cars off the road.
The orders of suspension followed a barrage of incidents since Cruise received approval to conduct around-the-clock robotaxi service in San Francisco.
