The American economy shrank an annualized 1.4% sequentially in Q1 of 2022, well below market forecasts of a 1.1% expansion and following a 6.9% expansion in Q4 of 2021.
When war breaks out, defense companies tend to make money. That means aerospace and defense stocks can serve as safe havens for investor cash during geopolitical unrest.
The raging war between Russia and Ukraine has brought some ETF areas into the limelight as they are seeing some gains since the attack.
