PBA commissioner Willie Marcial made the announcement Friday, Dec. 10 after receiving a seal of approval from Quezon City mayor Joy Belmonte. Marcial added about 3,000 to 4,000 vaccinated fans who are vaccinated will be allowed to watch the action at the Big Dome, which lasted hosted the PBA a week before pandemic began in March 2020. The PBA was earlier allowed to hold games in Pasay City, particularly at the Mall of Asia Arena with a capacity of at least 1,000 fans. But Marcial said the SM-owned facility is already filled with events for the rest of the month.
