DUBAI (Reuters) – Buyout groups CVC Capital Partners and Brookfield and two Abu Dhabi state funds have bid to buy a stake in the Middle East, North Africa and central Asia Starbucks franchise held by Alshaya Group, two sources familiar with the deal said.

Labor board overturned first election over company’s unfair conduct, giving workers another chance to be the first Amazon facility in US to unionize Workers at the Amazon warehouse in Bessemer, Alabama, have begun the rerun of a historic union election after the US labor regulator ruled Amazon’s conduct had interfered with a previous election in 2021 and ordered a new vote.
