Luxury automaker Audi of America said on Thursday it has paused paid advertising on Twitter, the latest company to do so after the social media platform was acquired by billionaire Elon Musk.
In 2009, after Twitter was sued by then-St. Louis Cardinals manager Tony La Russa for being impersonated on the platform, the young company introduced a new feature: a blue and white check mark.
Musk's "The bird is freed" message is the most popular tweet of the past week, followed by the billionaire proclaiming "Comedy is now legal on Twitter."
