Webull Class A Ordinary Shares Earnings Call Transcript Summary of Q1 2026
Webull reported a strong start to 2026 with Q1 revenue of $159.9 million (+36% YoY), customer assets of $24 billion (+90% YoY), record equity and options volume (equity notional $261 billion, +104% YoY; options 159M contracts, +31% YoY) and continued international expansion. Institutional / B2B flow is gaining traction (institutional order flow ~9.5% of equity notional), and Webull received approval for a U.S. self-clearing license (expected to be operational around Q4), which should reduce clearing costs and improve competitiveness. The company is investing heavily in marketing and product initiatives (adjusted operating expenses +~64% YoY) as it builds AI-enabled products (Vega Analyst, Portfolio Blueprint, AI Portfolio), B2B infrastructure (MCP server, Webull Connect, TrustLink) and global market rollouts (approved in 22 additional EEA markets; operations in 15 markets total). Management expects the June 4 elimination of the Pattern Day Trader rule to be a structural tailwind and is ready on day one. Q1 was the sixth consecutive quarter of adjusted operating profitability (adjusted operating profit $14.8M, adjusted net income $9.2M) despite higher marketing spend. Management announced a share repurchase program of up to $100M and will begin publishing monthly operating metrics going forward to provide more frequent transparency.
