Kinaxis Earnings Call Transcript Summary of Q1 2026
Kinaxis reported a strong start to FY2026 with a record Q1 driven by accelerating SaaS revenue (up 21% YoY) and ARR growth (20% YoY to $447M). Bookings momentum was broad-based: record new business, larger average ACV (many $1M+ deals including the largest initial contract ever), and notable wins across consumer goods, chemicals, energy, life sciences and industrial manufacturing. Profitability improved materially — adjusted EBITDA rose 62% to $53.6M with a 32% margin, gross margin expanded to 69%, and operating cash flow and free cash flow remained very strong. Kinaxis is seeing early commercial traction for Maestro Agents and the Maestro Activity Unit (MAU) consumption pricing; agent adoption more than doubled quarter-over-quarter among paying customers and agent/AI capabilities are increasingly part of net-new evaluations. The company is investing heavily in R&D, partner enablement (SIs, hyperscalers, NVIDIA, Databricks), and a data/ontology roadmap to enable agentic orchestration. Management maintained full-year guidance despite the strong quarter, repurchased $62M of stock in Q1, and announced a CFO transition with a search in final stages. Key risks noted: macro/FX volatility, token/LLM cost dynamics (being monitored), and the need to scale delivery and partner capabilities as AI adoption increases.
