Vecima Networks Earnings Call Transcript Summary of Q1 2026
Vecima reported a solid start to fiscal 2026 with Q1 revenue of $71.1M, up 3.4% sequentially, and adjusted EBITDA of $11.5M (adjusted EBITDA margin 16.2%), driven by a more favorable product mix and lower FX volatility. The Video & Broadband Solutions (VBS) segment remained the largest contributor ($58M), led by continued adoption of the Entra DAA portfolio (customer engagements increased to 140, with 68 paying customers). Early commercial traction for the cloud-native vCMTS and ongoing adoption of the EN9000 and EN3400 GAP nodes were highlighted as key growth drivers. Content Delivery & Storage (CDS) showed strong quarter-over-quarter and year-over-year improvement ($11.2M revenue; gross margin ~61%), fueled by IPTV expansions and increased dynamic ad insertion (DAI) activity. Telematics remained profitable with ~120k assets under management and high gross margins. Gross margin rebounded to ~42%, operating expenses declined materially versus prior quarter (helped by prior restructuring), and adjusted R&D cash investment remains significant (~20% of revenue). Cash rose to $8.6M and net debt was reduced to $60.7M; the board approved an eligible quarterly dividend of $0.055 per share. Management expects VBS to lead growth through fiscal 2026, continued margin improvement through product mix normalization, some timing lumpiness from industry consolidation, and stronger results into early fiscal 2027 driven by DAA and IPTV adoption.
