Shares of Tesla Inc. fell Tuesday after J.P. Morgan analyst Ryan Brinkman affirmed his long-time bearish call after the electric-vehicle giant missed already-lowered delivery expectations.
Analysts are weighing in on the results and looking past the third-quarter numbers that were wide of expectations.
Ahead of its update this week, Tesla had warned investors that production would decline sequentially in Q3 because of factory upgrades. Demand likely remained strong throughout the period.
The bond market is front and center for investors these days, with JPMorgan warning of a “financial accident” if yields keep going up, driving prices lower.
