Tesla founder Elon Musk has been praised after SpaceX donated Starlink terminals to Ukraine so citizens in the war-torn country will now have access to internet without the threat of Russia shutting it down. The country’s vice president called on Elon Musk to help secure communication satellites after the internet went down in several parts of Ukraine. The billionaire responded “Starlink service is now active in Ukraine. More terminals en route.” The news is huge relief for Ukrainians who need to be able to stay in contact with the rest of the world while Russia continues its invasion. Elon Musk has been praised online for his help. “SpaceX donating Starlink terminals means it''s now impossible for Russia to shut down the internet. This keeps President Zelenskyy connected to Ukrainians and keeps Ukrainians connected to the world. It''s a monumental boon to their fight. Kudos to Elon Musk and Kimbal Musk,” Macleans magazine editor Scott Gilmore tweeted.
