As Shakespeare wrote, sleep is sore labors bath, balm of hurt minds, great natures second course, chief nourisher in lifes feast. It is the time our body and mind take each night to mend the injuries of the day, to reset and recharge. Its importance to our physical, emotional, and mental well-being cannot be understated. Despite this, our society devalues sleep and glorifies its dismissal. The leaders and celebrities we revere often boast of their lack of sleep. Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla Inc. (NASDAQ: TSLA ), has said he has worked 120-hour weeks, not leaving the factory for 3 or 4 days. Indra Nooyi, former CEO of PepsiCo Inc. (NASDAQ: PEP ), reportedly allowed herself 4 hours of sleep a night. The idea that productivity and sleep are mutually exclusive, or at least opposing forces, is baked into the fabric of our society.
Joe Biden promotes EVs with tire-screeching Hummer test drive in Detroit
01:41pm, Thursday, 18'th Nov 2021 The Tribune
Detroit, November 17 US President Joe Biden climbed behind the wheel of an electric Hummer SUV on Wednesday and sped off with a screeching of tires, in a test drive to tout billions of dollars in electric vehicle investment. "Anyone want to jump in the back, or on the roof?" Biden asked reporters after taking a few laps at a General Motors plant. "These suckers are something else!" The test drive, at a General Motors Co electric vehicle assembly plant in Detroit, the largest city in Michigan, was part of a nationwide White House tour promoting the $1 trillion infrastructure bill Biden, a Democrat, signed into law on Monday. The law provides $7.5 billion in funding to build out the nation''s electric vehicle charging network, investments the industry says will inspire more Americans to buy electric vehicles, and manufacturers to produce them. Electric vehicle sales accounted for just 1.8% of the U.S. new vehicle market in 2020. In Detroit, Biden lavished praise on Detroit''s Big Three automakers, especially GM, for embracing EVs. "In the auto industry, Detroit''s leading the world in electric vehicles," Biden said.

Highlights Low price per token, high market cap, and mentions in news headlines can be a rewarding combo in cryptos Altcoins arent an alternative, but a competitor to Bitcoins dominance in blockchain universe With one full month left in 2021, investors may bet on a few altcoins to reap quick profits by January 2022 Bitcoin has gained nearly 100 per cent, Ether nearly 500 per cent so far in 2021. But the real crypto stars of 2021 are altcoins like Dogecoin and Axie Infinity with 5,000 per cent and 20,000 per cent respectively. There is one more reason to look beyond Bitcoin. The first cryptocurrency that popularized blockchain, navigated rough seas of criticism and spawned thousands of other crypto tokens seems to have reached a daunting roadblock. The price of Bitcoin is showing a resistance at US$60,000 mark. Although there are talks about Bitcoin breaching US$100,000 in the near-to-medium term, stagnation has seeped in for now. But the crypto investment space, famous for quick price appreciation and infamous for inherent volatility, has enough options for enthusiasts.
