Criteo S.A. Stock Forecast
About Chart
Golden Star
The Golden Star is a refined bullish signal based on the Golden Cross, developed by Jim Stromberg, incorporating additional time frame-specific moving averages and precise price line crossings. This signal is effective for liquid stocks, highlighting short-term upward momentum.
Death Star
The Death Star, developed by Jim Stromberg, is the bearish counterpart to the Golden Star, serving as a sell signal. It is triggered by specific moving average crossings on the price line, indicating a likely prolonged decline in the stock.
Golden Cross
The Golden Cross is a bullish signal where the short-term moving average crosses above the long-term moving average, indicating potential upward momentum.
Death Cross
The Death Cross is a bearish signal where the short-term moving average crosses below the long-term moving average, indicating potential downward momentum.
Pivot Bottom
A Pivot Bottom is a significant low point identified by algorithms developed by StockInvest.us. While it may indicate a short-term directional change, it does not necessarily imply a complete trend reversal. Pivot Bottoms are marked as green circles on the price line.
Pivot Top
A Pivot Top represents a significant high point identified by algorithms developed by StockInvest.us. Similar to Pivot Bottoms, it may suggest a short-term directional change within the main trend, rather than a full trend reversal. Pivot Tops are marked as red circles on the price line.
RSI Oversold
RSI oversold indicates that a stock has declined significantly and may be undervalued, potentially presenting a buying opportunity. This condition is marked by a green line on the chart but should be confirmed with other indicators before taking action.
RSI Overbought

The bars indicate how much stock has been traded on each price during the chart period.

Sell Signal (MA)

Explanation to Bollinger's Bands
Bollinger Bands was created by John Bollinger in the early 1980s, its purpose is to define price action relative to the assets highs and lows. This technical indicator is used to identify buy and sell signals and has proven very well in doing so.
Bollinger Bands consist of a set of three curves drawn in relation to securities prices. The middle band is a measure of the intermediate-term trend, usually a simple moving average, that serves as the base for the upper and lower bands. The interval between the upper and lower bands and the middle band is determined by volatility, typically the standard deviation of the same data that were used for the average. StockInvest.us uses Bollingers suggested 20 day average.
Middle Bollinger Band = 20-period simple moving average
Upper Bollinger Band = Middle Bollinger Band + 2 * 20-period standard deviation
Lower Bollinger Band = Middle Bollinger Band - 2 * 20-period standard deviation
BandWidth defines the current width of the band.
%b defines the current position within the band.
BandWidth = (Upper Bollinger Band - Lower Bollinger Band) / Middle Bollinger Band
%b = (Last - Lower Bollinger Band) / (Upper Bollinger Band - Lower Bollinger Band)
Live Samples:
Bottlenecks in bandwidth indicate an upcoming change. Break up through the moving average line or continuous movements above the moving average line indicate a break up, and vice versa.

Criteo S.A. stock downgraded from Sell Candidate to Strong Sell Candidate after Friday trading session
(Updated on Nov 01, 2024)
Sell candidate since Oct 30, 2024
Loss -0.45%
The Criteo S.A. stock price fell by -0.713% on the last day (Friday, 1st Nov 2024) from $33.68 to $33.44. During the last trading day the stock fluctuated 2.89% from a day low at $33.25 to a day high of $34.21. The price has fallen in 6 of the last 10 days and is down by -21.98% for this period. Volume fell on the last day along with the stock, which is actually a good sign as volume should follow the stock. On the last day, the trading volume fell by -133 thousand shares and in total, 850 thousand shares were bought and sold for approximately $28.42 million.
The stock lies in the lower of a very wide and falling trend in the short term, and this may normally pose a very good buying opportunity. If the lower trend floor at $33.08 is broken, it will firstly indicate a stronger fall rate. Given the current short-term trend, the stock is expected to fall -20.13% during the next 3 months and, with a 90% probability hold a price between $26.42 and $33.35 at the end of this 3-month period. Do note, that if the stock price manages to stay at current levels or higher, our prediction target will start to change positively over the next few days as the conditions for the current predictions will be broken.
CRTO Signals & Forecast
There are few to no technical positive signals at the moment. The Criteo S.A. stock holds sell signals from both short and long-term Moving Averages giving a more negative forecast for the stock. Also, there is a general sell signal from the relation between the two signals where the long-term average is above the short-term average. On corrections up, there will be some resistance from the lines at $38.09 and $40.46. A break-up above any of these levels will issue buy signals. A sell signal was issued from a pivot top point on Thursday, October 17, 2024, and so far it has fallen -22.41%. Further fall is indicated until a new bottom pivot has been found. Furthermore, there is currently a sell signal from the 3 month Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD). Volume fell together with the price during the last trading day and this reduces the overall risk as volume should follow the price movements.

For the upcoming trading day on Monday, 4th we expect Criteo S.A. to open at $33.63, and during the day (based on 14 day Average True Range), to move between $31.68 and $35.20, which gives a possible trading interval of +/-$1.76 (+/-5.25%) up or down from last closing price. If Criteo S.A. takes out the full calculated possible swing range there will be an estimated 10.50% move between the lowest and the highest trading price during the day.
With no support below and resistance from accumulated volume @ $33.59, some $0.150 (0.45%) from the current price of $33.44, our system finds the risk reward not very attractive.
