Key Highlights:

This week will see a wave of quarterly financial updates from several high-profile companies, including key players in the tech, energy, financial, and manufacturing sectors. Notably, members of the Magnificent 7—Microsoft, Meta Platforms, and Tesla—are all slated to report on Wednesday, with Apple following on Thursday.

Tesla’s earnings come at a time when CEO Elon Musk has taken on a role within President Donald Trump’s administration. The electric vehicle maker’s most recent vehicle delivery figures have fallen short of analysts’ expectations.

Microsoft’s report follows a flurry of announcements regarding artificial intelligence investments, including a landmark $500 billion initiative tied to Microsoft-backed OpenAI. Meta’s update arrived shortly after the company raised its projections for AI-related investments. Meanwhile, Apple’s report comes amid analyst downgrades spurred by concerns over the demand for new iPhones.

In addition to these tech giants, other significant firms in the sector, such as chipmakers ASML Holdings, IBM, Intel, and ServiceNow, are also due to release their financials.

Energy giants ExxonMobil, Chevron, and Shell will provide their earnings this week, against a backdrop of optimism surrounding energy policy under the new Trump administration. Reports from telecommunications titans AT&T, T-Mobile, and Comcast will offer investors insight into the sector's health, while anticipated earnings from Visa, Mastercard, and SoFi may shed light on consumer spending trends, particularly as debt levels have recently begun to stabilize.

Boeing, which released earnings data early last week, will host its investor call on Tuesday. Meanwhile, defense contractors Raytheon Technologies and Lockheed Martin are also expected to report this week.

General Motors, which recently received an analyst upgrade following strategic moves such as winding down its Cruise robotaxi program, will report its quarterly financials on Tuesday.
