Key Highlights:

Nvidia’s earnings report on Wednesday comes as the stock faces pressure from DeepSeek, a Chinese AI start-up whose surprisingly efficient model raises questions about the spending required to develop the technology. Despite this, Nvidia saw its profit more than double in Q3, driven by strong sales in its data center division.

Salesforce will also report results on Wednesday, having grown revenue by 8% and exceeded earnings expectations in Q3, thanks to the rollout of its autonomous AI agents.

Other tech companies reporting this week include Synopsys, a software firm, and Snowflake, a cloud-based data storage company.

Dell Technologies will release its earnings on Thursday, with analysts hopeful the company can capitalize on the AI boom despite recent disappointing results. Dell has also been in talks with Elon Musk’s xAI for a server deal.

Hardware retailers will also be in focus this week, with Home Depot’s report expected Tuesday. The home improvement giant exceeded analyst estimates in the previous quarter and raised its full-year revenue outlook. Lowe’s will report the following day, after forecasting a return to sales growth in 2025, though it continues to contend with a sluggish housing market.

Chrysler parent Stellantis is also expected to release earnings this week after reporting a drop in quarterly shipments. Luxury EV maker Lucid is also on the earnings calendar.

Warner Bros. Discovery plans to release its quarterly results, following its announcement to split its TV business from its streaming and movie studios. Paramount Global is also set to report earnings.

Additionally, several Canadian banks, including Royal Bank of Canada, Toronto Dominion Bank, Bank of Montreal, and Bank of Nova Scotia, are scheduled to report this week.
