ASML Holding N.V Earnings Call Transcript Summary of Q1 2026
ASML reported Q1 2026 net sales of EUR 8.8 billion, with Installed Base revenue of EUR 2.5 billion and Q1 gross margin at 53% (net income EUR 2.8 billion). For Q2 2026 management guided EUR 8.4–9.0 billion in sales with a 51–52% gross margin and EUR 2.5 billion of Installed Base revenue. For full-year 2026 ASML narrowed and raised its revenue outlook to EUR 36–40 billion while maintaining a gross margin expectation of 51–53%. Management cited strong, sustained demand driven by AI infrastructure — customers are sold out for 2026 and capacity constraints are expected to persist beyond 2026 — leading to increased capex from both memory and advanced logic customers. ASML said it will boost supply via new shipments, system performance upgrades and Installed Base products: targeting at least 60 EUV Low NA systems in 2026 and the potential to reach at least 80 Low NA EUV units in 2027 (contingent on customer demand). Non-EUV (immersion, dry, applications) demand has picked up versus earlier expectations. On technology, ASML highlighted key progress: a demonstrated 1,000-watt EUV source (enabling future throughput up to ~330 wafers/hour on Low NA by 2031), short-term NXE:3800E throughput increased to 230 wph and NXE:3800F spec to 260 wph, and encouraging High NA ecosystem and tool maturity enabling multi-node extension. Management also noted the company can accommodate potential outcomes from ongoing export control discussions within the provided guidance.
