Pricer AB Earnings Call Transcript Summary of Q2 2026
Pricer reported a strong Q2 2026 with growth across net sales (8.5% reported, ~9.9% ex-currency) and order intake (+13%), marking the first quarter since 2024 with simultaneous growth in both metrics. Key commercial wins and momentum came from North America (notably Sobeys phase 2 and recurring IBM Federal orders), Canada, the U.S., Scandinavia and the Pacific region. SaaS (Pricer Plaza) is accelerating — Plaza net sales grew ~35% quarter-on-quarter and the company added >1,000 stores in H1. Gross margin improved sharply to 28.1% (vs 19% YoY) driven by lower production and freight costs, improved customer/product mix and higher Plaza contribution. Adjusted EBIT turned positive (7.1% margin) after one-off restructuring costs (SEK 9m) that yield SEK 17m annual run-rate savings from July. Cash position is strong (SEK 336m cash; net cash SEK 36m) with an unused revolving credit of SEK 150m. Inventory has risen (seasonally and to support deployments) and is expected to decline through the year. Innovation initiatives include Pricer Avenue (A/B test shows measurable sales uplift on promotions) and an internal AI platform (Pricer.AI) that has sped up development capacity and may be embedded in customer offerings. Management is cautiously optimistic: Avenue is expected to be accretive and to open new conversations with FMCG brands, but broad roll-out timing is measured (limited volumes expected this year, optimism for next year).
