Panoro Energy ASA Earnings Call Transcript Summary of Q1 2026
Panoro Energy reported Q1 2026 results broadly in line with expectations and reiterated its strategy of accretive growth through both organic development and M&A. Pro forma working interest production was ~15,000 bbl/day for Q1 with a target to reach 20,000 bbl/day in 2027 as planned work programs (notably Ceiba recovery and MaBoMo Phase 2) come online. The annual reserves statement shows pro forma 2P reserves of 84 million barrels (c.15 years of production at Q1 rates) and 2P+2C of 169 million boe, underlining a sizeable organic growth pipeline (including Bourdon, MaBoMo Phase 2 and Estrella). The transformational acquisition of an additional 40.375% interest in Block G (from Kosmos) remains on track for completion in H2/2026 (subject to CEMAC competition clearance), and market support for the deal was strong (USD 150m bond tap and USD 49m private placement oversubscribed). Financially, IFRS revenue for the quarter was USD 34.9m with EBITDA USD 10.9m; pro forma figures including Block G liftings materially increase those numbers. Cash on the balance sheet was USD 218m (including ~USD 148m restricted pending the Block G close). Management declared a NOK 50m distribution for the quarter and reiterated disciplined capital allocation and a USD 55m FY26 CapEx guide (ex-acquisition). Hedging is in place for 2026 liftings at a blended average of USD 76.5/bbl, with no 2027 hedges currently. Key near-term catalysts: Block G closing (expected Q3), MaBoMo Phase 2 coming online (target 2027 plateau increases), July lifting program (~1.1–1.5m barrels pro forma), seismic interpretation and potential fast-track of Estrella in Equatorial Guinea.
