Rumble Earnings Call Transcript Summary of Q1 2026
Rumble reported Q1 2026 revenue of $25.5 million, up ~7% year-over-year, with Adjusted EBITDA loss improving slightly to a $21.0 million loss. The company emphasized a major strategic transition driven by the pending acquisition of Northern Data (approximately 81% of shares secured and regulatory approvals obtained), which management expects will transform Rumble into a Cloud + video company where Cloud — particularly GPU-as-a-Service and AI data center offerings — could become the largest revenue driver. Northern Data reported strong utilization and raised its 2026 revenue outlook, and Rumble said it is negotiating multiple GPU-as-a-Service deals and evaluating non-dilutive GPU financing. The video business showed user traction (MAUs of 56 million and rapid growth in Rumble Shorts, which hit ~2 million unique video views in a single day in May) but weighed on ARPU since Shorts is not yet monetized (monetization planned in H2 2026). Rumble launched Rumble Wallet with Tether and has begun scaling a $100 million Tether advertising commitment (scaling more meaningfully in H2). Costs: cost of services declined 10% YoY, G&A fell 37% largely from payroll reductions, R&D rose 20%, and Sales & Marketing spiked 134% as the company invests for growth. Net loss widened to $30.3 million due mainly to noncash items and transaction-related costs tied to the Northern Data deal. Liquidity was $233.4 million (including ~210.82 BTC valued at $14.4M). Management believes the combined business could be substantially larger and may provide guidance for the combined entity after close, which is expected in June.
