Sify Technologies Earnings Call Transcript Summary of Q1 2026
Sify reported Q1 FY2026 revenue of INR 10,723 million, up 14% year-over-year, and EBITDA of INR 2,111 million, up 18% YoY. Loss before tax was INR 322 million and loss after tax INR 388 million (impacted by depreciation, interest and higher manpower costs). Capex in the quarter was INR 2,874 million. Revenue mix: Network services 41%, Data center colocation 37%, Digital IT services 22%. The company added ~8.6 MW of operational data center capacity in the quarter, bringing total operational capacity to 138 MW; two greenfield DC projects in Noida (NCR) and Chennai (26 MW each) went live recently, and two Mumbai facilities (total ~52 MW design capacity) are under construction and expected later in the financial year. Sify has been certified for NVIDIA liquid cooling (130 kW/rack) across three campuses and has launched a pay-per-use/colocation model for AI/GPU workloads (customers bring their GPUs and use Sify’s certified facilities). The digital IT services segment is being repositioned from project-based to recurring/annuity revenue; management is investing in people and capabilities and expects improvement in that segment (and consolidated leverage) over a 12–18 month horizon. The company continues to evaluate capital-raising options and will update the market when concrete plans are approved by the board.
