Trelleborg Ab (publ) Earnings Call Transcript Summary of Q2 2026
Trelleborg reported a strong Q2 2026 with record quarterly sales (~SEK 9.16bn, +7% y/y) and the highest quarterly EBITA and EBITA margin to date (SEK 1,761m; 19.2%). Organic growth was robust at 8% (M&A +1%, currency -2%). All three business areas grew organically, led by Sealing Solutions (notably strong across automotive, aerospace, industrial segments) while Industrial Solutions and Medical Solutions showed steadier, more mixed developments. Cash flow was solid (operating cash ~SEK 1.2bn, 22% y/y improvement) and rolling-12 cash conversion was strong (~96%). EPS (ex-items) rose ~18%, aided by improved financial net and share buybacks; net debt/EBITDA was ~1.3x with a strong balance sheet. Management completed a small acquisition (Gomet) and continues share buybacks (~SEK 500m per quarter target). Sustainability metrics improved (CO2 down 19% y/y; near 100% renewable electricity). Outlook: management sees sequentially improving demand across most end markets but cautions Q3 organic growth will likely be lower than Q2 due to tougher year-ago comparables (they still expect solid positive growth and remain cautious on geopolitical/commodity uncertainties).
