THALES Earnings Call Transcript Summary of Q4 2025
Thales reported a strong 2025: record order intake (EUR 25.3bn), sales of EUR 22.1bn (organic +8.8%), adjusted EBIT margin of 12.4% and adjusted net income above EUR 2bn. Free operating cash flow hit a record ~EUR 2.6bn, driving a sharp reduction in net debt to EUR 1.6bn and enabling a proposed dividend increase to EUR 3.90 per share (+5.5%). Defence remained the primary growth engine (record orders, backlog ~EUR 42bn, strong book-to-bill), with notable success for SAMP/T NG and continued ramp-ups to meet rearmament demand. Aerospace (Avionics and Space) delivered solid growth and margin recovery, while Space saw improvement and positive EBIT after restructuring. Cyber & Digital was the laggard: Cyber Products faced integration-related disruption (Imperva) but showed signs of recovery in Q4; overall Cyber & Digital sales were broadly flat and margin held at ~13.7% (recurring closer to 13%). Strategic priorities for 2026: capture profitable growth (capacity ramp-up, >9,000 hires planned), operational excellence and AI-driven productivity (cortAIx scaled across product lines), restore Cyber growth, and progress on the proposed space JV with Airbus and Leonardo (BROMO) targeting operations in 2027 subject to approvals. 2026 guidance: book-to-bill >1; organic sales growth 6–7% (EUR 23.3–23.6bn); adjusted EBIT margin 12.6–12.8%; free operating cash flow conversion 95–100%.
