Vend Marketplaces Asa Earnings Call Transcript Summary of Q2 2026
Vend delivered a solid Q2 with expanded profitability and improved cost discipline while continuing strategic work on platform transitions and AI. Group revenues were NOK 1,696m (flat YoY, +2% cc), vertical revenues grew ~10% cc, and Group EBITDA rose 16% to NOK 674m with a margin of ~40%. Mobility showed mixed performance (Norway strong, Sweden recovering post-transition, Denmark adapting to a new dealer model). Real Estate, Jobs, and Recommerce all reported double-digit ARPA or revenue improvements, with Recommerce returning to GMV growth in Sweden and significantly improved margins. The FINN consumer-facing migration is complete; remaining platform work is limited. AI is being rolled into product features (Dealer Hub, search, valuation) and internal productivity (86% daily AI usage among employees). Management accelerated cost reductions and now expects OPEX (ex COGS) to decline ~NOK 150m in 2026 vs 2025 (up from prior NOK 100m guidance). Capital allocation remains shareholder-friendly: an active buyback (first NOK 2bn tranche ~NOK 1.6bn repurchased as of July 10) and an increased dividend (NOK 2.50/share). Net cash remains strong (~NOK 2bn). Near-term risks: parts of Mobility (Sweden and Danish dealer adaptation) remain challenging, and Other HQ revenues will decline materially due to terminated TSAs, though HQ losses are falling through cost cuts.
