Apple is rumored to be working on new variants of its entry-level MacBook Pro. According to Bloombergs Mark Gurmans Sunday newsletter, Apples 2022 MacBook Pro models will have an M2 chip but no ProMotion or mini-LED display, as reported by 9to5Mac. Apples 2021 MacBook Pros with the companys M1 Pro and M1 Max CPUs included both ProMotion and mini-LEDs on the display. A refresh rate of up to 120Hz is possible with this technology. According to Gurman, the MacBook Pro could be one of four Macs to receive an upgrade in 2022. This year, the MacBook Air, 24-inch iMac, and entry-level Mac Mini may all be updated. In addition to Macs, Apple is slated to release a slew of new items in 2022. The iPhone SE 3, iPhone 14, Apple Watch Series 8, and latest iPad Pro and iPad Air devices are all included. The tech behemoth has yet to disclose the date of its next event, but early March is rumored. Apple did not respond to CNETs request for comment right away.
