Apple Seeds Fourth Betas of iOS 15.2 and iPadOS 15.2 to Developers
06:07pm, Thursday, 02'nd Dec 2021 Mac Rumors
Apple today seeded the third betas of upcoming iOS and iPadOS 15.2 updates to developers for testing purposes, two weeks after seeding the third betas and a month after the launch of iOS 15.1 and iPadOS 15.1 . iOS and iPadOS 15.2 can be downloaded through the Apple Developer Center or over the air after the proper profile has been installed on an iPhone or an iPad . iOS and iPadOS 15.2 add support for App Privacy Report, a feature that Apple first highlighted back at WWDC. With App Privacy Report, you can see how often apps are accessing sensitive info granted to them through privacy permissions, such as location, camera, microphone, and contacts. The feature also gives you details on the various domains that apps and websites are contacting, so you can keep an eye on what your apps are doing behind the scenes and where your data might be going. App Privacy Report can be enabled by opening up the Settings app, selecting the Privacy section, and choosing App Privacy Report. From there, you can toggle it on.
Albert Edwards: Here''s Why The FAANGs Will End Up Sinking Like The BRICs
06:07pm, Thursday, 02'nd Dec 2021 Zero Hedge
Albert Edwards: Here''s Why The FAANGs Will End Up Sinking Like The BRICs While US equity indexes have been relatively stable despite the recent spike in volatility, what is going below the surface is sheer turmoil. Take the Nasdaq: while the index remains just shy of all time highs, this is entirely thanks to the five or so gigacaps, the GAMMA (fka FAAMG) stocks, which has found solid support in recent days. Alas, the same can not be said for the rest of the tech-heavy Nasdaq where as the chart below shows, we have just seek the biggest spike in new 52-week lows since the March 2020 crash. This, when coupled with the recent bloodbath observed in the median stock (as measured by the Value Line Geometric), is why yesterday we rhetorically noted that "they better not start selling the generals" or else everything will come crashing down. They better not start selling the generals pic.twitter.com/3RHZsrn4QI — zerohedge (@zerohedge) December 1, 2021 So cue SocGen''s in house grizzly bear, Albert Edwards, who - never lacking for a scenario which ends in fire and brimstone - writes this morning that hope is not a strategy and that unfortunately for the bulls, " FAANGs will end up sinking like a BRIC ." Reminding his readers that Inflation and Covid remain the main focus of the markets (they hardly need reminding in light of the explosion in vol in the past week), Edwards said that he feels compelled "to flag up two important BRIC-related anniversaries that might be relevant for the dominant FAANG stocks." First, the SocGen strategist notes that it is the 20th anniversary of the invention of the BRIC acronym. (BRICs, for those who need reminding, was dreamed up by Goldman''s former Chief Economist, Jim (now Lord) O’Neil, who predicted that the emerging economies of Brazil, Russia, India and China would enjoy superior economic growth and investment returns relative to the developed economies.

Danske Bank Slaps ''ESG'' Label On 95% Of Its Funds As Top Banker Speaks Out Against "Greenwashing"
05:44pm, Thursday, 02'nd Dec 2021 Zero Hedge
Danske Bank Slaps ''ESG'' Label On 95% Of Its Funds As Top Banker Speaks Out Against "Greenwashing" One of the most disturbing developments on Wall Street in recent years is how the "green cult" has managed to infiltrate the culture, forcing firms to drum up ESG-branded offerings or risk losing clients to better-prepared rivals. But like any other fad, the shift to ESG, and the pressure investors are putting on "dirty" oil and gas companies (not to mention coal) has had side effects that are more serious, and others that are more or less benign. In the "serious blowback" camp is the fact that the backlash against traditional energy companies and the new orientation in Washington has helped drive inflationary pressures to their highest level in 3 decades (more on that here ) by weighing on US supplies of crude oil. The truth is there simply aren''t enough truly "green" assets to go around, which is why Wall Street is scrambling to label any old company "green" based sometimes on little more than promises.
