Fourth Turning 2022: Bad-Moon Rising

Fourth Turning 2022: Bad-Moon Rising Authored by Jim Quinn via The Burning Platform blog, Try to unlearn the obsessive fear of death (and the anxious quest for death avoidance) that pervades linear thinking in nearly every modern society. The ancients knew that, without periodic decay and death, nature cannot complete its full round of biological and social change. Without plant death, weeds would strangle the forest. Without human death, memories would never die, and unbroken habits and customs would strangle civilization. Social institutions require no less. Just as floods replenish soil and fires rejuvenate forests, a Fourth Turning clears out societys exhausted elements and creates an opportunity. Strauss & Howe The Fourth Turning Institutions will be increasingly bossy, limiting personal freedoms, chastising bad manners, and cleansing the culture. Powerful new civic organizations will make judgments about which individual rights deserve respect and which do not. Criminal justice will become swift and rough, trampling on some innocents to protect an endangered and desperate society from those feared to be guilty.

100 "Fringe" Predictions For 2022 Submitted by QTR''s Fringe Finance Having already provided my semi-lengthy look at 22 stocks that I am watching heading into 2022 (you can view that far more serious post here ), I wanted to do something more fun, and less serious to open the new year. Heading into each new year, contained herein are 80 predictions of mine - void of all analysis and disclaiming any and all guarantees that I have any idea what I’m talking about . Absolutely none of these are to be considered life advice, investment advice or solicitations to buy or sell securities, sectors or industries mentioned. Please note that I have personal financial exposure to some elements in this list and that these are nothing more than wild-ass guesses, for fun, of what I think the coming year could bring. This list is for fun only - and is all opinion only. Photo: Diginomica It’ll be fun to look back at these predictions next year, when I make a similar list for 2023. And hey, at the very least, this list will serve as a handy reference guide as to how not worth it a paid subscription to my blog can be!

COVID Vaccines Do Disrupt Menstrual Cycles, New Study Reveals

11:30pm, Saturday, 08'th Jan 2022 Zero Hedge
COVID Vaccines Do Disrupt Menstrual Cycles, New Study Reveals Authored by Zachary Stieber via The Epoch Times (emphasis ours), A COVID-19 vaccine is administered in Orange, Calif., on Dec. 16, 2020. (John Fredicks/The Epoch Times) Getting a COVID-19 vaccine has been linked to a change in the menstrual cycle among women, per a new study. Dr. Alison Edelman of the Oregon Health & Science University and other researchers studied cycles among 2,403 vaccinated and 1,556 unvaccinated women and concluded vaccination was associated with a change in cycle length. The change was pegged at under one day; no change in menses length was detected. Researchers said that vaccines that use messenger RNA technologyboth Pfizers and Modernas dotrigger an immune response, which could temporarily affect the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis function, and the study results support the hypothesis. Our findings are reassuring; we find no population-level clinically meaningful change in menstrual cycle length associated with COVID19 vaccination.
