Pfizer Pushes Third Vaccine Dose For Kids 5 And Under

08:40pm, Sunday, 19'th Dec 2021 Zero Hedge
Pfizer Pushes Third Vaccine Dose For Kids 5 And Under As Pfizer and Moderna fight to get their COVID jabs approved for children under the age of 5, Pfizer revealed on Friday that it''s changing its approach by testing three vaccine doses in babies and preschoolers after discovering that two doses simply doesn''t provide enough protection. According to the AP , Pfizer announced the change after a preliminary analysis found 2- to 4-year-olds didnt have as strong an immune response as expected to the very low-dose shots the company is testing in the youngest children. All of this seems funny to us off the bat because it was our understanding that youngsters had natural immunity to the virus barring some immunodeficiency issue. Pfizer said it had expected data on how well the vaccines were working in children under 5 by year''s end. Now, nobody knows how long that might take as the company tries out different strategy. But one thing''s for sure: Pfizer is about to be selling a lot more vaccines.

Moderna''s COVID Vaccine 4 Times More Likely To Cause Heart Inflammation Than Pfizer''s: Study Authored by Mimi Nguyen Ly via The Epoch Times, A study published in the British Medical Journal late Thursday suggests Moderna s COVID-19 vaccine is up to four times more likely to cause heart inflammationmyocarditis or myopericarditisthan Pfizer-BioNTechs COVID-19 vaccine. Vaccination with [Modernas vaccine] was associated with a significantly increased risk of myocarditis or myopericarditis in the Danish population, and the rate was threefold to fourfold higher with the Moderna vaccine compared to the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine , authors said in the study, which spanned almost 85 percent of Danes, or 4.9 million people aged 12 and older. The increased risk of myocarditis or myopericarditis with the Moderna vaccine was primarily driven by an increased risk among individuals aged 12-39 years, said the researchers, from Denmarks Statens Serum Institute. The population-based cohort study , published Dec. 16 in the British Medical Journal (the BMJ), also corroborated previous studies and reports such as those from Israel and the United States that say there is an increased risk of myocarditis or myopericarditis with taking the mRNA-based Moderna or Pfizer vaccines.
