Weaponized Links and Attachments Being Used to Install Malware Securing Your Organization from Attacks Targeting Microsoft 365 V…
11:23am, Wednesday, 02'nd Mar 2022 Security Boulevard
Documents with embedded macros are increasingly being used to deliver malware. New Microsoft defaults decrease the danger, but only somewhat, and only for Office docs. Despite their reliance on the Microsoft 365 platform, too many organizations overlook its significant security vulnerabilities. Along with convenience and productivity, open source often delivers risk, in the form of vulnerabilities and even malicious code blocks. Since virtually all websites and software include open source code, its caveat emptor for users and their organizations. Prisma Access customers can easily integrate Ericom’s award winning cloud service using a Service Connection to add RBI to their SASE stack. The pressures of supporting the shift to remote work and dealing with the accompanying rise in cyberattacks has left many CISOs burnt out and exhausted. Modern security solutions can offload much of the burden. To its credit, Ireland’s Health Service Executive (HSE) had PWC conduct an independent review of the ransomware attack on its systems.

Russian troops in Ukraine are attacking only military targets, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists, commenting on the news that the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague would launch a probe into possible war crimes in Ukraine. According to RT, a Russian state-controlled international television network, an ICC prosecutor said there was “a reasonable basis to believe that both alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity” had been committed in Ukraine. Accusations against Russia were filed with the ICC by Kiev. Western governments and internet giants including Google, Microsoft, Facebook and Twitter have moved to heavily censor Russian foreign-language media outlets over the conflict in Ukraine, blocking websites, shutting down social media pages, and taking radio and television broadcasts off air.

The labour ministry is holding discussions with HR heads across sectors to address concerns over the Wage Code. Issues will be addressed through Rules without altering the current structure of Codes, labour and employment minister Bhupender Yadav told ET''s Yogima Seth Sharma and Deepshikha Sikarwar in an interview. Edited excerpts:There is a lot of speculation on the timing of implementation of the Labour Codes. When are these likely to be rolled out?The Labour Codes will be implemented as soon as possible. Around 26 states have notified Rules on Codes on Wages and all states are working on notifying Rules on all the four Codes. We have partly implemented the Social Security Code but we want to see all four together in a comprehensive manner. The government will do everything through consensus and in a transparent manner. There are differences between employers and employees on Wage Code. What is the way out? There are no differences as such. Certain things can be sorted out through the Rules.
