Key Insights

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang will speak this week at the company’s annual AI developer conference. His keynote is set for Tuesday at 1 p.m. ET at the GPU Technology Conference (GTC). This comes as Nvidia faces pressure from a tech stock sell-off and competition from Chinese AI firms like DeepSeek.

Investors will also watch the Adobe Summit for AI updates. On Thursday, Nvidia partner Micron Technology will report earnings. The company recently lowered its revenue forecast, citing weak PC sales and slower demand in the auto and industrial sectors.

Nike will report its quarterly results on Thursday. This follows a strong performance in new CEO Elliott Hill’s first quarter leading the company.

FedEx is also set to report on Thursday. Last year, the company announced plans to spin off its freight business. In its last earnings report, FedEx lowered its annual forecast, predicting flat revenue growth due to weaker consumer demand.

Retail and restaurant earnings this week could reveal trends in consumer spending. On Wednesday, discount chains Ollie’s Bargain Outlet and Five Below will release earnings. Cereal maker General Mills is also set to report. On Thursday, Olive Garden’s parent company, Darden Restaurants, will share its results. These reports come as analysts watch for signs of a slowdown after January’s retail sales decline.
