Kornit Digital Earnings Call Transcript Summary of Q1 2026
Kornit Digital reported a strong start to 2026 with Q1 revenue of $48.5M (top end of guidance), an adjusted EBITDA loss of $2.8M, and positive operating cash flow for the 10th consecutive quarter. Trailing-12-month impressions grew ~12% YoY, driven by higher utilization and ongoing screen-to-digital conversion. The company ended Q1 with approximately $27M in ARR and added about $2.1M of ARR in the quarter; AIC (All-Inclusive-Cloud/consumables model) revenue grew ~103% YoY. Product momentum accelerated after Connections 2026 where Kornit unveiled Atlas MATRIX (featuring Carbon Shield to enable high-quality polyester printing), showcased Apollo (including cut-piece production), and introduced Presto Max Plus targeting footwear, technical apparel, camouflage and home decor. Management reported a strengthening backlog and pipeline, expects a meaningful step-up in ARR in Q2 and continued acceleration in H2, and provided Q2 guidance of $51M–$55M revenue with adjusted EBITDA margin between -5% and breakeven. Gross margin in Q1 was 41% (down YoY, impacted by product mix, seasonality and shekel FX/tariffs); management expects margin improvement as utilization and recurring revenues scale. The company has a strong balance sheet (cash/marketable securities ~$462.2M) and executed ~$30M of share repurchases in Q1 (about $200M total repurchased since 2023). Kornit also announced the Print Factory acquisition to strengthen software/workflow/automation capabilities. Management highlighted disciplined OpEx control (non-GAAP OpEx down 7% YoY) and ongoing focus on scaling AIC, upgrades, and new market expansion (polyester, footwear, technical textiles).
