OUTFRONT Media Earnings Call Transcript Summary of Q1 2026
OUTFRONT Media reported a stronger-than-expected Q1 2026 driven by robust transit performance and steady billboard growth. Consolidated revenue rose ~10% YoY (transit +22%, billboard +7%); adjusted OIBDA increased 56% to ~ $100M and AFFO rose to $61M. Transit strength was led by the New York MTA (≈26% growth) and digital transit (+26%), while digital revenue overall grew >11% and programmatic/digital automated sales jumped ~40% year-over-year. Results included a one-time benefit of ~$13.5M from billboard condemnations and the continuing exit of a large, marginal L.A. billboard contract (impacting comparisons). Management is investing in technology, workflow improvements and digital sales talent (notably a senior programmatic hire) and expects continued momentum into Q2 with revenue growth accelerating to >10% (transit ~30%, billboard mid-single digits), helped in part by World Cup-related demand. Full-year 2026 expectations were raised: the company now expects reported AFFO to grow in the mid-teens vs. 2025 (2025 AFFO $338M). CapEx guidance is about $90M for 2026 ( ~$30–35M maintenance), committed liquidity >$700M, and net leverage at ~4.3x (inside 4–5x target). Importantly, the company expects to surpass the MTA MAG baseline in 2026, triggering recoupment of previously invested digital spend (recoupment reduces cash/debt needs but does not affect GAAP OIBDA/AFFO/net income). The Board maintained the $0.30 quarterly dividend.
