Investors Stop Worrying About a Recession for the First Time Since 2022

Investors are setting aside recession fears, marking a significant pivot from the cautious stance held since April 2022. According to a recent Bank of America survey, investors have lowered cash reserves to 4.2% from 4.8%, redirecting funds into equities and propelling global stock allocations to a peak not seen in two years.
This newfound optimism, fueled by a collective $568 billion in assets under management, showcases the most bullish sentiment in two years.
The survey highlights the "long Magnificent 7" (AAPL, MSFT, GOOGL, AMZN, NVDA, META, and TSLA) as the top investment strategy, with a notable surge in technology sector investments, reaching heights unseen since August 2020.
Despite this optimism, Bank of America's "Bull & Bear Indicator" hits 6.8, signaling that investor enthusiasm may pose challenges for future market performance.
